What is Alpha?
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in an informal, fun and friendly environment. The Alpha course consists of 10 evenings (once a week) around a meal together, a talk (looking at topics including ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘Why and how do I pray?’) and then discussion in small groups.
Over 25 million people worldwide in over 169 countries have attended the course. Over 5 million people in the UK alone have done the course.
Who is Alpha for?
For everyone! All are welcome.
There’s no pressure, no unwanted follow up and no cost. However, we do promise good food, good company and a good time!
You don’t have to come to the whole course – just pop along for the first session and see what you think. No pressure. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity.
Alpha takes place on Wednesday or Thursday evenings, starting at 7.30pm.
